How much can I save if I come to India for my treatment?
On an average, a medical tourist can save anywhere between 50-80% depending on the kind of treatment or procedure they choose.
I would like to know how much my treatment will cost me.
The approximate cost of your medical treatment can only be provided after we receive your present and updated health records. After our specialist evaluates your case, we can determine how much your entire treatment will cost you. The cost of any treatment is determined on various factors like
• The duration of the treatment based on the present medical condition of the patient
• The additional services and facilities needed post the treatment during your stay in India
• Any and all additional medical related services like providing a nurse or caretaker to the patient, house visits of the doctor if there is a need etc.
• The type of hospital you choose along with their charges including the relevant taxes applicable
Do you cater to patients with special needs?
Yes, we at Medicule do not differentiate between any of clients or patients. Whether you are an elderly person or a child or even a person with special needs; we provide a helping hand to anybody who needs our help.
Is it cheaper to get the treatment directly from the hospital instead of going through you?
Since we have partnerships with various hospitals across India, we offer our clients rates at discounted prices. If you go directly to the hospital you may end up paying a lot more than what you would if you go through us. Moreover, we would not be able to monitor the facilities provided to you.
What all treatments do you provide?
We provide any and all kinds of medical treatments which can vary from simple to complicated procedures and treatments. Apart from that, we also provide wellness centric treatments and facilities like Ayurveda, Yoga, Sidhha etc.
The medicines prescribed to me are not available in my home country, what should I do?
Do not worry; in such a situation, our company will do the needful to make sure that you get your medicines on time so that there is no break in your treatment. We will also arrange a video conference with your Indian doctor and the doctor at your home country; so that they can decide what kind of medicines can be given to you to help you recover faster. If need be, we will send you the medicines by mail but you would need to pay for the shipping charges.
I may have trouble carrying back medicines during customs and emigration
We will hand over all the necessary permits and referral letters along with copies of each which you would need to carry with you when you are travelling. Just in case of any questions, you can always hand over a copy of these documents to the concerned authorities so that they are aware that you came to India for your medical treatment.
Would it be safe to travel back after my treatment?
Your journey back home will be planned after we get the green signal from the doctor who cared for you in India. Before you travel you will be taken for a follow-up to ensure that you are fit for the journey and that there are no health concerns or complications. Just in case we need to make any changes in your dates, we will do the needful for you.

Isn’t travelling overseas expensive; and then with the medical cost, it will be too much for me.
People generally think that travelling abroad is an expensive affair. While this may true if it is just for a holiday, the same is not applicable in medical tourism. Amongst the various countries for medical tourism, India is one of the cheapest countries for healthcare services in the world. The amount that you would spend for your getting yourself treated in countries like US or UK is a lot more. With that same amount, you can not only get the treatment that you need; however, you can also enjoy a vacation post your treatment before you head back home.
I do not know anyone in India, how will I find my way around? OR If I need help when I’m in India, who do I contact?
Medicule will appoint a relationship manager who will be in constant touch with you while you are in India. Your manager will be responsible to ensure that all your needs are cared for in a timely manner. He/She will also be responsible to ensure that your travel and transportation needs are sorted out well in advance so that there are no last minute issues or problems.
How much money should I bring along with me?
It is advisable to carry enough cash on hand to take care of any and small expenses you may incur during your travel. In India, most places accept debit and credit cards; so making payments through your card would not be a problem. Just in case you do face any problem, you can let your relationship manager know and we will see how we can help you out.
